What happened?
Plutoscape has been on hiatus since Chapter 2's release for a few different reasons.
I've lost the time and motivation to do it, due to the amount of things that have come up both personally and at school.
I've recently had a lot of personal stress, in terms of personal and interpersonal matters. I won't be diving too deep into it, but my mental health has not been well and I've taken steps in order to attempt on improving it.
Plutoscape requires a lot of reworking in terms of the plot. I want to make sure that Plutoscape is able to represent many themes and topics I want to cover well, and ensure that all plot points are tied up in a way that's rewarding and satisfying.
The current story of Plutoscape is heading towards a trajectory I initially didn't think was problematic. However, after watching a few shows and reading a bit of other media, I came to realise that writing something hopeful and introspective will be much more impactful than writing a tragedy.
I also want to take my time in making sure this web novel is not something that ends up being a casual read, but something that is impactful towards people's lives. I will try my best to achieve that goal :)
With those reasons in mind, Plutoscape will be on an indefinite hiatus until further notice. With further consideration, time, and planning, I hope to be able to deliver Chapters 3-8 in a way that it will be worth the wait!
